Skramz band from the Far East, Papal, have just released their new wax cylinder, Reconsecration. The release has taken in some experimental themes such as Mongolian gongs and kettle drums, obviously influenced from their recent spot on the Slaughterfest tour with the warmongering Hatecreed. The album is full of almost blasphemous violent sections, yet still retains their holy ambience that has set them apart from most bands within the Holy Land skramz scene.
Editor’s Pick: ‘Pieces Of The Robe I Weaved’, ‘Worn Knees And The Hands We Clasp’, and ‘Pentecost Coming To An End’.
