With the sad news that The Sandiest Landscape are calling it a sermon today we’ve decided to crawl through the archived cylinders and re-release this much sought after release. Covet Thou Heart is personally my favourite release from the band. We’ve got news that these perishing rabbis have plans to keep making music in the future, catch them at their last cave show at Mt Sinai next week as Water Becomes The Wine and We Were Clergymen give them the send off they deserve.
Track Listing:
1. Forty Four Baptisms2. Healed Like A Miracle3. The Sixth Sacred Son
Limited to 100 White Wax Cylinders & only available at their final show in Mt Sinai.

Jerusalem is an older release from our rabbis in Temple Fight. After Rabbi and it’s lead single Flood of 22B.C. was so well recieved we decided to review an older wax cylinder. This is only a 3-hymn release, which was later featured on a compilation cylinder, The First Prayer You Dedicate.
These upbeat songs of worship are worth checking out for any Temple Fight fan. You can see why Rabbi got so much attention just from these three hymns. Here is the tracklisting, fresh from the OTHC turntable:
Crucifixion Hill
Prayer and Gospel
Kosheryeah

La Jihad have just finished up their tour of the Holy Land and so we here at OTHC decided to review this fantastic wax cylinder in memoriam. Hopefully we can see our fellow rabbis back here soon. This cylinder, Somewhere at the Bottom of the Red Sea Between Egypt and Sudan paints a tale of two Egyptians, one who was ostracised and exiled from his community after missing morning prayers.
Word from La Jihad is that this is a cylinder that everyone should check. I personally recommend my favourite track Said the Pharoah to the Israelites but there are other standout pieces, notably The pyramid builders and Nobody, not even the Sheikh and we can’t forget the epic The last lost tomb of Rameses II. If you haven’t got a copy of this wax cylinder, we will be giving away a few as a OTHC x La Jihad pair up promotion. See you in the tent.

Since the last few releases by The Sandiest Landscape have been reviewed and enjoyed by our fellow Jews, we decided to feature them one last time. This split cylinder with If Romans Smite You, What Will Greeks Do? is definitely a classic from the Nazareth scene. Two brilliant bands combined to put out this excellent release in tribute to our late lord Jesus.
The Sandiest Landscape contribute Raisins, an ode to the ancient art of shop lifting where thieves would lift the shop to steal the delicious dried fruit that lied underneath. If Romans Smite You, What Will Greeks Do? offer to us Miserable and scene, a scathing attack on the new craze in Nazareth to wear Fetch Me The Kingdom shirts and delicate facial outerwear. This will most likely be our last feature on The Sandiest Landscape so make sure you check this split wax cylinder out. It suits a nice jug of wine with your brothers of the faith.

Today in the OTHC tent we were rummaging through piles of old wax cylinders and came across this self-titled cylinder by Benedictonfire. Finding this really took us back to the days of circle chair pits and combed hair. I remember my seventh cousin thrice removed’s Barmitzvah when this was played. Let me just say that we hit the wine that day harder than I have ever before.
Benedictonfire have since announced their departure and sadly, we here in OTHC missed their last tour of the Holy Land. One of the members is still making music under the moniker of Temple and Tint and he will be visiting the Holy Land soon. We may see some Benedictonfire renditions when the time comes. Personal favourites from this debut wax cylinder are Little children praying and bowing, A spear through the side of Lord Jesus and Hieroglyphs of desert jackals.

Here at OTHC we really appreciate The Sandiest Landscape. A band that has been touring the Holy Land and putting out quality wax cylinders for many aeons now. In honour of the new cylinder, After the Plagues, we are reviewing this older release, Lift Your Staff High for This is Where We Cross the Red Sea.
The Sandiest Landscape have really made a name for themselves in Nazareth and beyond, now a well established name on the Opentomb roster. We featured their split with Water Becomes the Wine only recently and strongly suggest you listen to this cylinder when you can. Personally, my favourite tracks are Weightless is the new technicolour dreamcoat, A statue of the sphinx and The sixth golden mask of Tutankhamun. A must have cylinder for all fans.

We recently recieved this import from our missionaries up north. Synagogue's debut wax cylinder, I Wish I Could Pray Here. Ever since Missionary Jokkim delivered the title to us, we have been spinning it. Hopefully we can see these far-off brothers of the faith down here in the Holy Land some time soon.
There have been rumours of a cave tour with local rabbis Temple Fight, but there is nothing confirmed as of yet. We here at OTHC will keep you updated. In the mean time, be sure to check out the standout tracks from this cylinder, Romans Throw Their Spears, Plan to be Crucified and the opener Praying. Synagogue are a band to certainly look out for in the A.D.

Breaking news here in the OTHC tent. We’ve just got this release in from Opentomb Records and it is better than seven Barmitzvahs. The Sandiest Landscape and Water Becomes the Wine are both two well established bands in the Nazarethskramz scene and even more so across the entire Holy Land. This split 9 inch wax cylinder is surely going to be well recieved.
The Sandiest Landscape contribute one track Death becomes us after the 10th plague and Water Becomes the Wine offer the new song New normal after the exodus of Egypt. Look for Opentomb Records' new release in a synagogue near you.

Today here in the OTHC tent we regretfully announce the departure to the other plane by local stalwarts Bonfires of Sinai. After realising this excellent wax cylinder Old Rabbis Never Pray in the Holy Land, they have decided to call it a day.
This wax cylinder was often jammed here in the tent and the boys in Bonfires of Sinai always put on intense live show in the caves around Nazareth. There are a few standout tracks from this wax cylinder such as Time to Pray, Sometimes You Just Bow and the capitvating opener, No Man’s Sand. Today we bid farewell to Bonfires of Sinai.

Hailing from the revered Damascus emo scene, Camels Jaw have built up quite a name for themselves. Their first self-titled wax cylinder release has been one of the most well-received punk albums in the entire Holy Land, in recent years, and even received a blessing from the Great Synagogue of Jerusalem.

This has been one of our favourites here at the OTHC tent, for many years, and it is very welcome news that it will finally be getting repressed, after half of the original cylinders were destroyed in a tragic fire at Pray For Others Cylinders, supposedly set by gypsy raiders. So, if you missed out on getting one of the original cylinders be sure to pick this up at the wax cylinder stall at your local market.

Editors pick: 'Goat Vs. Lamb Vs. Donkey', 'Parables', and 'I Was Never Your Disciple'.
